He ran around in three complete circles, talked even faster, and screeched loudly. Scurrying away, he darted off across the rocks. Gina let out a quiet whimper. Why did he leave Where does he go? What did I do? She waited. 

He returned at full sprint. Something long and green dangled from his mouth. He ran up to Gina and almost into her. Involuntarily, she flinched. A shudder ran through her, but she managed not to growl. 

He took no notice of her response, because all his attention lay focused on the green object, which he transferred from his mouth to his tiny hands. Biting into this green object, his tiny jaws chewed furiously. He stopped, looked up at her, repeated the chewing action a couple times, and then began a lengthy lecture that Gina failed to understand.
